Included in the programme
Whilst we're working together you'll need to wear a continuous glucose monitor, so that we can closely track the effects on your blood sugar.
You'll wear a small sensor on your upper arm, and you'll be able to scan it to get an instant reading of your glucose levels using an app on your smartphone.
So much easier than using a finger-prick glucometer, and it gives much more detailed data too.
Each sensor lasts for 2 weeks.

I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to following the latest research in weight loss science, and it has moved on a LOT since the 1950s, when calorie-deficit was the mainstay of all weight loss efforts.

Nope! This programme is specifically designed to work with the foods that you ALREADY eat. We may adapt some of them, but you may be surprised to find that some of the "unhealthy" foods that you enjoy are actually not harming your weight loss efforts at all.
Guilt-free indulgence, what's not to love?
Nope, there's no point in making you go hungry - that's not a sustainable way to lose weight - you'd find it hard to stick to in the long term, and it wouldn't be healthy for your body.
My aim is to help you to choose foods that you find satisfying, but that support your weight loss goals AND are gentle on your blood sugar system.
This programme is about food, not supplements. If you already take supplements that you find helpful, I won't make you stop, but I won't ask you to take anything extra.
The vast majority of diets simply find different ways to reduce your calorie intake. Modern science has shown that simply reducing your calorie intake doesn't lead to lasting weight loss. Your body can adapt by slowing down your metabolism - not a great outcome!
This programme takes a different approach, based on the latest research. You'll learn how your body gets stuck in fat storage mode, and how to avoid that. Then you can activate your energy release systems and burn fat much more easily whenever you choose.
I'll work with you to help you understand the quirks of your own diabetic fluctuations, so that you can reduce your HBa1C as well as losing weight.
This programme isn't about exercise, it's about food. You may find you'll have extra energy though, so perhaps you'll be inspired to be more active.
